Very Rare Miniature Stoneware Pitcher, Stamped "JOHN BELL," circa 1860, finely-thrown pitcher with rounded foot, bulbous waist, and tall, flaring collar accented with incised lines. Applied strap handle on reverse. Impressed with John Bell maker's mark across midsection. Exceptional size and form. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Near mint condition with a tiny nick to rim to left of handle. H 2 5/8".
