Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "T. HARRINGTON / LYONS", New York State origin, circa 1860, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed design of two tulips emanating from a central stem. Slip-trailed "3" above. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. A spider crack on underside, continuing approximately 7 3/4" up side of crock. A small chip to interior of rim. Water glass staining to interior. An in-the-firing area of dryness to surface at base on reverse.
