One-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stamped "PAUL:CUSHMANS", Albany, NY origin, circa 1810, thin-walled, cylindrical jar with heavily-tooled shoulder, the midsection featuring the large coggled signature, "PAUL:CUSHMANS". Surface covered in a reddish-brown Albany slip glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a shallow in-the-firing chip to rim. H 10 3/8".
