Three Pieces of Bell Family Redware, Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1850-1880, two lead-and-manganese-glazed flowerpots, one stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'", the other stamped "JOHN W. BELL / Waynesboro, Pa."; together with a molded spittoon with lead and manganese glaze, stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'". John Bell flowerpot with loss to rim, area of exfoliation, wear to rim of pot and saucer, and a small chip to underside. John W. Bell flowerpot with a poorly-restored rim chip with wear to surface below, a short hairline from rim, poorly-restored saucer chips with wear below, a minor base chip, and traces of green paint to surface. Spittoon with chips and some scratches to lead glaze. H (of John W. Bell flowerpot) 5 1/2" ; L (of spittoon) 8 1/2".
