Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "CONNOLLY & PALMER, / NEW BRUNSWICK, / N.J.", circa 1880, cylindrical jug with tall spout, decorated with a stylized, slip-trailed flower featuring a looping stem. Slip-trailed "2" above. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. A chip to interior and exterior of spout and some light staining to surface.
