Glazed Redware Trivet, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'", PA origin, circa 1850-1880, with relief decoration of a flowering urn surrounded by clusters of grapes, the surface decorated with heavy manganese sponging and covered in a clear lead glaze. Underside impressed with John Bell maker's mark. A 1 1/2" chip to edge. Other chips to edge and wear to surface. One foot lost and replaced with a carved piece of cork. Diameter 8 1/4".
