Large-Sized Tanware Pitcher, Greensboro or New Geneva, PA origin, circa 1880, ovoid pitcher with tall, flaring collar, decorated in Albany slip with a sweeping fuchsia vine design around the body. Collar with brushed drape decoration above various flourishes. Albany slip stripe decoration to handle. A spout chip, partially covered in brown paint. Other traces of brown paint to surface, unrelated to any sort of repair. A 7/8" rim chip beside a tiny rim nick. H 9 1/2".
