Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar with Stenciled Tobacco Leaf Decoration, Stenciled "Weyman & Bros. / Pittsburgh, Pa.", circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, featuring Weyman & Bros. tobacco advertising and a freehand stripe on the front, the reverse with a large stenciled tobacco leaf. Wear and a few shallow nicks to interior of rim. A small base chip. H 10 1/4".
