Sewer Tile Spaniel Doorstop, Ohio origin, probably Tuscawaras County, late 19th or early 20th century, molded in the form of a seated spaniel with incised details to ears and paws, the collar and locket with impressed circular embellishments. Literature: Similar examples are attributed to Tuscawaras County, Ohio in Sewer Pipe Folk Art by Jack Adamson. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 10 1/4".
