Shenandoah Valley Glazed Redware Mug, attributed to Anthony W. Bacher, Winchester, VA, circa 1885, with footed base, tooled body, and flared rim, decorated with daubs of copper and manganese over cream-colored slip. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Two hairlines from rim, measuring 2 3/8" and 2 1/4". Glaze loss to surface. H 3 1/4".
