One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA", circa 1865, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and tapered spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Excellent condition with a small, glazed-over spout chip and staining.
