Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG", circa 1865, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-squared rim, and lug handles, decorated with a brushed design of a leafy branch bearing a graduated hanging blossom. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Provenance: David Musser Collection. Rim chips. A minor, glazed-over handle chip.
