Rare Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Double-Stenciled Richmond, VA Advertising, attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with two rows of "E.B. TAYLOR / Richmond, Va." stenciled cobalt advertising, below a stenciled geometric banner. This jar is the first E.B. Taylor merchant jar we have offered with the advertising stenciled twice. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
