Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "J.E. ENEIX / NEW GENEVA, PA", circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with an unusual circular stenciled motif between J.E. Eneix maker's stenciling. Additional stenciled foliate accents to front. Bold-faced stenciled "3" at base. Cobalt stripe to shoulder. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Water glass staining to surface.
