One-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, North Carolina origin, second half 19th century, ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim, the surface covered in a streaky olive-green alkaline glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a few minor base chips and some kiln residue on underside. H 10 1/2".
