Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to N.A. White & Co., Binghamton, NY, circa 1866-1868, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed poppy flower with spotted accents. Slip-trailed number 3 above. A thin 7" crack on underside, continuing several inches up front of crock. This crack is difficult to see on front. Exfoliation to shoulder on reverse. A 7/8" base chip. Some minor flakes to base.
