Manganese-Decorated Redware Bowl, Pennsylvania origin, circa 1840-1875, tapered bowl with semi-rounded rim, decorated on the interior with a stylized sponged drape design and around the rim with additional manganese sponging. Wear to interior. Shallow chips to edge. A few shallow base chips. Diameter 12 1/8" ; H 3 3/4".
