Stoneware Jar with Cobalt-Stenciled Floral Design, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a finely-stenciled design of a flowering plant. As-made condition with a 1 1/4" in-the-firing chip to side of jar. H 7 3/4".
