One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Pittsburgh, PA Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1875, semi-ovoid jug with tooled spout, featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising "SCHMIDT & FRIDAY. / WINES & / LIQUORS. / PITTSBURGH. / PA.". A 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" salt drip to right side of jug. Two spout chips. A small base chip. Some staining to surface.
