Three Stoneware Jugs, Stamped "E & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT", circa 1870, two one-gallon jugs and one one-and-a-half-gallon jug, all with cobalt leaf motifs and cobalt highlights to the maker's mark. Shorter one-gallon jug with in-the-firing dryness to shoulder, some small spout chips, and a shallow 7/8" chip on side of handle with thin cracks extending through it. Taller one-gallon jug with a shallow 7/8" base chip, a tiny spout nick, and some mottling to clay. One-and-a-half-gallon jug with staining, an in-the-firing contact mark to front, some light exfoliation to base, a small base chip, and a small chip and light wear to spout.
