Five Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Lids, Mid-Atlantic origin, circa 1875, a small-sized lid with cobalt leaf decoration, Baltimore, MD origin; a swag-decorated lid, impressed "6" on underside, Baltimore, MD origin; a lid with heavy swag decoration surrounding the edge, Baltimore, MD origin; and a large lid with swag decoration surrounding the knob, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA. Smallest lid with 1 3/4" edge chip and 3/4" chip to knob. One swag-decorated lid with chips and nicks to knob. Lid with heavy swag decoration in excellent condition. Largest lid with chips to flange on underside and some iron residue. Diameter (of smallest lid) 7".
