One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Leaf Decoration, attributed to the Edmands Pottery, Charlestown, MA, circa 1860, ovoid-based pitcher with tooled midsection, tall flaring collar, and applied handle, the front decorated with a slip-trailed design featuring a striped leaf. A thin 1 1/2" crack from rim on reverse. A 1/2" in-the-firing separation on left side of upper handle terminal, which is glazed over.
