Four-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Jeremiah Keister & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1865, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a hanging swag and floral motif. A Y-shaped hairline on underside, continuing 2" up base of jar. Rim chips. A few scratches to surface near base.
