One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, New York State origin, third quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with tooled midsection flared collar, and applied handle, the front decorated with a stylized slip-trailed wreath with brushwork at the center. 5” crack from rim on reverse. 3 1/4” hairline from rim on reverse. 3 3/4” crack from rim to left of spout. Wear to rim. A small chip and light wear to handle. 3” salt drip to side of pitcher near base. Rim chip on reverse.
