Unusual Stoneware Flowerpot with Cobalt Floral Decoration, probably Ohio origin, third quarter 19th century, tapered pot with tooled rim and hole in underside, decorated with two spotted cobalt tulips joined at the stem, applied over slip-coated clay. Two conjoined reglued sections, measuring 4 3/4" x 3 1/2", including a sliver missing along crack line. Two short hairlines from rim. A minor rim chip. One salt drip to interior and exterior. H 5 3/4" ; Diameter (across opening) 7 1/4".
