Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar with Louisville, Kentucky Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, the front stenciled "BAYLESS McCARTHEY / & CO. / LOUISVILLE / KY." Small rim chip. Two glazed-over in-the-firing dents to rim. Some faint blackish residue to surface.
