Rare One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Profuse Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with ten brushed cobalt stripes across the front. Excellent decoration. Large rim chip. Cracks from rim. Large Y-shaped crack extending up from base. Significant cracks in underside, including a reglued piece and chips to interior base.
