Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "BROWN BROTHERS, / HUNTINGTON, / L.I.," New York State origin, circa 1885-1905, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, nicely-decorated with a brushed stem bearing five flower blossoms. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Provenance: Donald Matties Collection. Excellent condition with some staining to side and reverse.
