Unusual One-Quart Stoneware Jug with Floral Decoration, probably Ohio River Valley, circa 1860, cylindrical jug with tooled shoulder and semi-squared spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip at the shoulder and a cobalt highlight to the upper handle terminal. Excellent size. Very nice condition with a long, faint line on right side of jug's front. Some additional faint crazing to underside, presumably in-the-firing. H 9 3/4".
