Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, possibly Ingalls Family, Taunton, MA, second quarter 19th century, ovoid jar with tall collar and thick lug handles, decorated with a large brushed tulip on the front and swags along the collar. Additional cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Three hairlines from rim, the longest measuring 4". A few minor rim nicks. A minor nick to underside at edge. Staining.
