Salt-Glazed Stoneware Loving Cup with Incised Dog Decoration, Stamped "DOULTON LAMBETH 1873," and Incised "BHB" for Doulton Artist, Hannah Barlow, London, England, circa 1873, large-sized mug with coggled shoulder and three applied strap handles, the body decorated with three incised design of a setters in a field. Stylized incised vine decoration to handles. Black slip highlights throughout decoration. Professional restoration to surface of rim, visible in places on both the interior and exterior of rim, as well as restoration (possibly to cracks" descending approximately 4" from rim. This restoration does not affect the decoration. H 7".
