Manganese-Decorated Redware Pitcher, American, first half 19th century, squat-shaped pitcher with bulbous midsection, tooled body and rim, and ribbed strap handle, the surface decorated with haphazard splashed of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Handle broken into three pieces and reglued. A shallow base chip. Wear and shallow chip to rim. H 6 1/2".
