Three Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, second half 19th century, a two-gallon crock with foliate design, stamped "GEDDES. N.Y"; a two-gallon crock with leaf design, stamped "SEYMOUR BOSWORTH / HARTFORD", CT origin; and a half-gallon jar, inscribed "1/2" with graduated stripes underneath, probably NJ. Geddes crock in excellent, essentially as-made condition with a short glazed-over separation from rim. Hartford crock with wide top-to-bottom crack from rim on reverse, continuing onto underside. Half-gallon jar in very nice condition with some flaking to underside and two areas of in-the-firing salt residue on underside.
