Small-Sized Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Swag Decoration, attributed to R.J. Grier, Chester County, PA, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with four groups of brushed swags around the body. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. Jar appears to be unused. H 7 1/8".
