One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "P. HERRMANN," Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a large two-stemmed clover plant on the front and reverse. Excellent color. Two thin cracks from rim, measuring 5 1/2" and 4". Some tight lines to midsection and base, mostly minor and possibly in-the-firing. Two tiny nicks to rim.
