Stoneware Milkpan, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875, with tapered sides, applied tab handles, and pouring spout, decorated with brushed cobalt swags on the front and reverse. Handles decorated with cobalt at the terminals, connected by a line of cobalt underneath. Wear to edge of each handle. Right handles with an additonal small chip and small glazed-over chip. Small chips to rim. Two 1 1/2" in-the-firing chips / contact marks on right side of milkpan's front. A 5/8" stone ping on left side of milkpan's front.
