One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Bird Eating Berries Decoration, Stamped "W A MACQUOID & CO / POTTERY WORKS / LITTLE WST 12TH ST NY," circa 1870, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed design of a scissor-tailed bird plucking berries from a plant. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Small rim chip. Short, minor line on top of rim. Some staining.
