Redware Plate with Elaborate Slip Decoration, American, 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in yellow slip with a band of three wavy stripes flanked by groups of spots and shorter stripes. Very nice decoration. Knife marks and some small flakes to interior. Light wear to rim. Large, but stable, semi-circular crack on underside, not visible on interior. Diameter 8 7/8".
