Small-Sized Redware Jar with Slip Decoration, New England origin, first half 19th century, cylindrical jar with heavily tooled foot and flared rim, covered with a streaky olive-colored glaze over a reddish-brown clay ground, the shoulder decorated with haphazard dashes of yellow slip. Some spots of copper visible in slip decoration. Light rim wear and minor base wear. Otherwise excellent condition. H 6 3/8".
