Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock, Stamped "W.W. WESTON / HONESDALE, PA," circa 1850, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a large slip-trailed looping line design. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Excellent color. Large cracks on reverse including 6 1/2" and 4 3/4" reglued pieces. Rim chip on reverse. Small handle chip. Faint 2 1/2" hairline from rim on front. Minor semi-circular surface line on underside, not visible on interior.
