Two Stoneware Pig Bottles, Midwestern origin, late 19th century or early 20th century, a molded razorback hog bottle with applied spine of hair, Albany slip-glazed surface, and embossed inscription "D M HOWE / ? Station / In a Hog's [hand pointing to hog's rear]; paired with an Albany-slip-glazed stoneware pig bottle with applied tail and incised eyes. Molded hog bottle in excellent condition. Other bottle with restored ears, and some restoration to snout and tail, as well as chipping to spout at rear. L (of molded hog bottle) 6 3/4".
