Glazed Redware Rundlet, American, probably New England origin, early to mid 19th century, barrel-form drinking vessel wtih heavily-tooled shoulder and base, recessed top and bottom surface, and semi-rounded pouring spout. Body, top, and bottom decorated with haphazard streaks and spots of manganese over olive-colored clay ground accented with orange spotting. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Reglued 1/2" flake to spout. Tight approximately 5" x 4" X-shaped crack on one side. 1 3/8" slightly-recessed contact mark on reverse. Two minor rim nicks on reverse. H 5 1/2".
