Unusual Large-Sized Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with rounded wax sealer rim, the front decorated with a sweeping fuchsia vine design, the shoulder and base with freehand cobalt stripes. Essentially as-made condition with some fry to cobalt. H 10 1/4".
