Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Maryland or Pennsylvania origin, circa 1870, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated around the shoulder with four large brushed cobalt tulips. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a shallow, glazed-over chip on interior of rim.
