Slip-Decorated Redware Jar with Lid, probably PA origin, first half 19th century, ovoid jar with footed base and rounded rim, decorated with alternating straight and wavy lines of yellow slip. Includes original, slip-decorated lid. Jar missing both handles, with 1" loss to rim, additional heavy wear to rim, 3 1/2" crack from rim, three stone pings to surface, other surface wear, and glaze flakes to interior base. Lid with edge chips, wear to knob, a 1 1/2" glaze flake to surface, and two other much smaller glaze flakes to surface. H (including lid) 8 3/4".
