Redware Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO," PA origin, third quarter 19th century, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, the shoulder incised after the firing with the initials "JHB". Interior covered in a lead and manganese glaze. Tiny chip to underside at edge. Wear to rim. Surface wear to rim. 3" hairline from rim. Shallow 5/8" chip or stacker mark on top of rim. H 7 1/2".
