Rare Large-Sized Redware Saucer, Stamped "JOHN W. BELL / WAYNESBORO. Pa," circa 1880, wide, low-walled form with footed base, narrow rim, and lead-glazed interior. Impressed with John W. Bell maker's mark on underside. Possibly used as a serving dish or the saucer to a large-sized flowerpot. A few small chips at edge on underside. Some surface wear to outer edge of interior base. H 2 5/8" ; Diameter 12 1/4".
