Quart-Sized Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA origin, circa 1840-1880, squat, cylindrical jar with footed base, tooled shoulder, and flared, semi-rounded rim, the surface decorated with a streaky manganese glaze over a mottled olive and orange colored clay ground. Excellent condition with a small base chip. H 5 3/8".
