Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Swag Decoration, Stamped "SOLOMON BELL / STRASBURG / Va," circa 1870, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and squared rim, decorated around the shoulder with three groups of finely-brushed cobalt swags. Chips to rim, mostly small. Otherwise excellent condition.
