One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, third quarter 19th century, ovoid-bodied pitcher with tall collar and squared rim molding, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a stylized plant with scrolled stems featuring ball-shaped ends. Two chips to edge on underside, the larger measuring 1" x 3/4". Wear to cobalt. Nicks to rim.
